Dětem jednotlivé chody představuje samotný majitel a šéfkuchař Daniel Boulud. Vítězným chodem samozřejmě kromě desertů je steak. Naopak těstoviny, o kterých si šéfkuchař myslel, že dětem budou chutnat nejvíce, byly propadák.

Three girls and three boys, all 7 to 8 years of age were invited for a lunch to French restaurant Daniel in NYC to try a 7-course, $220 tasting meal. Daniel Boulud, the owner and chef, introduced the courses to the kids. The kids' pick (except the desserts, of course) was the steak. On the contrary pasta, which the chef thought would be their favorite, was not liked it at all.
